Why You Need to Step Out of Your Comfort Zone

Hey there! Today I wanted to talk about how important it is to step out of your comfort zone every once in awhile. I understand that your comfort zone is easy to stay in, it's comfortable. It's not scary and you know exactly what you are getting into when you stay there. However, you aren't going to get very far without stepping outside of it.


You're content at your job, you know exactly what you're getting into day after day, you know what work you're going to be doing, and that's okay. But, you know that you're better than that, better than just being content with where you are. Do you know what your comfort zone is? Being content with where you are in life, not trying to go for something better.

You know that you have big dreams, and you know that your comfort zone is not where you're going to achieve them.

I understand that it's scary, that it's something you're uncertain about. That's okay! It's going to be scary and you're going to feel nervous about it. However, you should also feel excited about what your goals are. Your excitement should help propel you out of that comfort zone.

The reason I say you need to step out of your comfort zone is because your goals are not going to achieve themselves without some major change and effort. Being comfortable is not going to get you to where you truly want to go, no matter how much we want to believe that it will. Change is uncomfortable, but it is necessary to achieve the big dreams that we have.

I want you to know that you don't have to necessarily jump right off the deep end with this. 

Taking the first baby steps will help you become more confident when it comes to stepping out of your comfort zone. You have to just keep moving forward, that is going to help you build confidence aas you reach towards your goals. Yout goals aren't going to just come to you, and you need to build the foundation needed to expand out of your comfort zone.

Do you have some goals that you're scared to reach for right now? Are you nervous looking at the big picture? If so, focus on the little bites, the baby steps. Take it slow, and work your way up to the big goals.
