Other Possible Rep Positions

7:19 PM

So, yesterday I announced that I became a Campus Rep with Coastline Outfitters. I figured I would also tell y'all that I applied to become a Campus Rep with Ace & Ivy and Serengetee. Ace & Ivy said they would let me know within the next week if I was accepted and Serengetee's application time closes Sept. 14 and will notify everybody the following week. I'm excited that I applied and hopefully I will be accepted! I will definitely let y'all know the outcomes!

Miss Teen USA 2014

7:49 PM

So I know this doesn't really have to do with anything preppy, but I love pageants (and hopefully one day I will compete) and I want to say congratulations to Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2014 K. Lee Graham, Miss Teen USA 2014! Also, congratulations to Cassidy Wolf, Miss Teen USA 2013 (from my home state California and my favorite Miss Teen USA) as she goes on to complete new adventures. Maybe we'll see her at Miss USA? Maybe. Anyway, congratulations K. Lee, I can't wait to follow your reign!

Back to School

3:25 PM

It's August, that means it's back to school month! So I'm starting my sophomore year at Arizona State at the end of August (yay!) and I'm eager to use my new school supplies and as I earn money, buy some preppy supplies. Anyway, this is what I'll be using for (at least) my fall semester.

Lilly Pulitzer Medium Agenda in Let's Cha Cha $22
First on the list is my Lilly Pulitzer agenda! I went over most of the details about this agenda in my last post. Anyway, I'm going to use my agenda to keep track of my homework, school events, work and personal events.

Simply brand 1" binders $3.49 and Lilly printables from Jessica Marie Design Blog FREE!
Next is standard 1" binders form Staples ( using free (monogram editable) Lilly Pulitzer printables for the cover from Jessica Marie Design Blog (found here: Lilly Binder Covers). All you have to do is save the file (PDF reader required), edit the monogram to your initials, and then save it! (Note: She also has directions on her website). I love these because they are cute Lilly patterns and well, they're free!

Lake Tahoe tote
Third, I'm using a tote that I got in a store off Lake Tahoe. I went to Tahoe on vacation and saw this tote and fell in love! Although there are no pockets, I'll make it work and I'm excited to use it for school! Anyway, any kind of tote will work well or if you don't want to use a tote you can always use a purse or a backpack!

Pilot G-2 Pens $7.09
Fourth, I'm using Pilot gel pens to take notes and use in my Lilly planner. They write very smoothly and are easy to grip. They are really good pens to use, plus they have a lot of colors! (And I love to color code things!)

Sharpie Accent retractable pocket highlighters $6.99
Fifth, I'm using Sharpie highlighters. I have never used these highlighters, I have used those big round Sharpie highlighters but I think these will be just as good. I use Sharpies all of the time and I love their products so I'm excited to use these highlighters. Plus I always love having a variety of colors to choose from.

Ticonderoga #2 pencils $5.00
Lastly, I'm using Ticonderoga #2 pencils! I don't really like to use pencils for taking notes or anything. I actually only get pencils for taking tests on scantrons. Regardless, pencils are always a good item to have in your school bag.

Well that's the most important stuff that I could think of. Let me know what you guys are getting for school! Have a great school year/semester!

Lilly Agendas!

1:12 PM

It's August first, do you know what that means? The first day of using the new Lilly Pulitzer agendas! (Yes, technically you could have used it all week but it says Aug 2014-Dec 2015) Anyway, I discovered this agenda when some of the people I follow on Twitter were talking about it, so I pre-ordered it in June and now it is time to use it! I have already started putting important dates in it, but I am so excited to use it for day-to-day activities.

So my agenda is the medium agenda in the Let's Cha Cha print and it was $22. I've seen it called Spa Blue Cha Cha, but on the website it said Let's Cha Cha (I know Let's Cha Cha has pink in it). It took me forever to figure out what size I wanted, it was literally a struggle to figure it out. At first I thought that maybe a large agenda would be the right size but I decided on a medium and when it came I realized that medium was the size I wanted. Once I looked through this agenda, I saw why everybody likes it. Each month has their own Lilly design, there's a month view and a weekly view (week on two pages), there's a separate area that has all of the months together, the sticker page, the reasons to party in 2014 page, the pocket in the front and other awesome features! If you don't have a Lilly agenda, I highly suggest getting one. Happy planning!
