2016 Blog Goals

Happy Tuesday!

After revisiting my 2015 blog goals that I set last year and seeing how much I accomplished, I realized that I need to think about what I want to accomplish with The Arizona Prepster in 2016! {If you’re curious about how I did with my 2015 goals, check out this post}

Platform Switch Hopefully sometime next year I can {and will} make the switch from Blogger to self-hosted WordPress. It’s not that I don’t like Blogger, there are just so many more possibilities with plugins and whatnot with a self-hosted blog!

More YouTube Videos This one isn’t really for the blog {technically}, but it has to do with the whole shebang! I’ve been saying it, but hopefully I can do some more videos beyond the Boxycharm unboxing videos!

Increase Social Media Reach I would like to set the goal of 1,500 followers on Twitter, 1,000 on Instagram, Pinterest, and hopefully Facebook. For Facebook, I would be happy with 500-1,000 likes. For my YouTube channel, I would hope to get 200 subscribers. It’s hard to build that reach when I don’t post videos that often.

More Blogging Tips I started posting blogging tips, but then I seemed to have forgotten about them. I hope to get back into posting them to help fellow bloggers!

Planning I hope to plan more with my blog. I want to be able to actually plan out posts and other things in advance and not feel like I’m scrambling to get a post up. I want to be more proactive this upcoming year!

E-book Say what? Yes! I hope to publish an e-book this coming year! I’ve just started looking into topics and what I would want to write about. I’m very excited for this goal!

I’m hoping 2016 is an even better year for The Arizona Prepster! Also, keep an eye out for the revamp coming in January!

    You will love self-hosted WordPress! It does cost more, since you have to pay for hosting, but if you buy several years of hosting at once, the monthly cost can be as low as $3-4. Check out Instaposse on Facebook for tips on increasing your Instagram followers. I joined with ~450 followers around September, and now I have ~1400 followers.
