So, my first week of training is over, and I’m so excited! I know I didn’t post on Wednesday, but I think for now I will only be doing three days a week because of my schedule currently. I’ll be posting every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; I’ll try to post on Tuesday’s if I can! Okay, let’s get back to talking about my job!

So I started training for my new job, a gate agent. A gate agent is the person who checks you in at your gate, answers questions about your flight, reschedules you if something happens, and so on. So this job require three weeks of classroom training {and I’ve already finished one!} and then a week or so of on the job training.

I enjoy being at the airport and seeing all of what goes on, there is no real way to explain it {I also enjoy seeing Matt work on the ramp when I can}. I’ve met some really nice people during training, some aren’t even from the Phoenix station! I’ve learned so much already this past week and I’m excited to learn more!

Another favorite is that I can be post-security now {and travel for free}. There are some great restaurants post-security that I could never get to on a regular basis, but now I can! Some of my favorite places that I highly suggest are Matt’s Big Breakfast, Modern Burger, and New York Pizza Department.

I’m very excited for what’s to come and I can’t wait to share it with you! I promise I will find my new “regular” schedule! What are some of your favorite airports that you’ve traveled to?
