New Americana

Happy Monday!

I haven’t posted an outfit post in awhile, this is the first one of 2016! I love this outfit and is perfect for spring, or throw on a cute jacket and it’s perfect for right now!

I love this outfit! If you notice the title of the post, you may notice that it is the title of a song that has been playing on the radio recently, New Americana by Halsey. I picked it because this outfit is inspired by that song. Music is something that gives me a lot of creative inspiration, and I’ve thought of doing outfits inspired by songs that I enjoy! Let me know what you think of this idea! I had so much fun taking these pictures though! I love my “trying to be a chic fashion blogger” poses, I’m working on it okay!

I’ve been loving these jeans since I got them for my birthday! They’re distressed and black; it’s like my two favorite things in one pair of pants! I also haven’t worn this shirt in awhile, but I’ve always loved it! You can see in the first photo that it is slanting to my left, like the graphic, and the entire shirt. I don’t remember buying it like that, but I think it fits the mantra of the shirt!

I’m excited to see where this music inspiration takes me! Are you excited?
